Business Location
City of Manila – is the capital of the Philippines and highly urbanized city. The City of Manila
is situated on the eastern shore of Manila Bay, on the western edge of Luzon, 1,300 km (810 mi)
from mainland Asia. The Pasig River flows through the middle of the city, dividing it into the north
and south sections.
According to the 2015 census, the population of the city was 1,780,148, making it the second
most populous city in the Philippines.[6] Manila is the most densely populated city in the world, with
41,515 inhabitants per km2 in 2015.[7] District 6 is listed as being the most dense with 68,266
inhabitants per km2, followed by District 1 with 64,936 and District 2 with 64,710. District 5 is the
least densely populated area with 19,235.
C.2 Business Area
Teresa Street, Sta. Mesa Manila – Is located Right outside the main gates of PUP Mabini
Campus, which also serves to connect the campus to Santa Mesa’s main thoroughfare Old Sta.
Mesa Street.
Teresa St. is also notable for being the only remnant of Manila’s street pedestrianization
program initiated by former Mayor Lito Atienza. Originally it was intended that the street not to
be opened to any vehicular traffic.
Given its proximity to PUP, it is not surprising to see various businesses that have put up
shop in this part of town. Internet shops, food stalls, school supply retailers to name a few.
Given also the market, mostly students coming from the middle or lower classes, it is a good
place to find cheap foodfare as well.
C.3 Floor Plan
The total Area of our acquired space for the Business is 13.69m² with a Length of 3.75m and a Width of
3.65m. The whole area is to be divided in 2 portions namely the Production Area and the Dining Area.
The Production Area is where the foods are to be processed and stored. Having a non-messy product
the counter would be a part of the said production area. The Production area consists of:
Preparation Area – Completed with the utensils and equipment to be used, This is where the
ordered food is to be prepared
Sink – is located beside the Preparation Area. This is the area where the workers should wash
their hands and clean all the utensils to be used.
Freezer – A big freezer where we keep the raw materials and perishable goods to let it stay fresh
Storage – This is where we keep materials and utensils to keep it organized
ICM (Ice Cream Machine) – A dedicated space for the Ice cream machine
Counter – This is where the transactions are made. This area consists of Food Display (Where
the Menu is listed), A Point sale Machine to record transactions, And the workspace needed
The Dining Area is a dedicated place for our customers to stay to enjoy the food that they ordered. It
