inauguration: a ceremony to mark the beginning of
something.
regardless: without paying attention to the present

realistic: having or showing a sensible and practical
idea of what can be achieved or expected.

This Week’s Objectives
Reading/Writing: We will begin reading our
next core lit. book, The Boy Who Invented TV,
where students will study another novel and ,
continue to answer the unit question: How do
new and improved technologies meet societal
needs?
Grammar: prepositions
Math: Multiplying and dividing decimals. We will
take our end-of-module 2 test in two weeks,
after lesson 29.
Science: We will finish our Spaceship Earth
unit. To sum up this unit on astronomy, students
will work on creating an infographic online about
one of the planets in our solar system. We will
also begin our Earth Science Unit.
Social Studies: Early Explorers of America
Health: Being Assertive-- Being assertive
means asking for what you want or need in a
calm, firm, respectful voice.
