St Columba College Professional Review 2019

Personal Learning Plan

2019 will see a continued focus on High Quality Teaching and Learning with a ‘continuous model of improvement’ and developing a culture where teachers deepen their work
in improving their practices to enable a positive effect on students and their learning.

You are asked to identify two professional learning goals that you would like to focus on improving throughout 2019.

 Professional Learning goal: 1 is to link with the individual “choice of Professional learning” that will be completed during term 2, 3 and 4 and may include a focus on
the School-Wide Pedagogical Framework. This goal will include your focus from this professional learning focus and should be evidenced through a unit of work that
you complete during late term 2 or term 3. Focussing in on the SWP is one of the Strategic Plan Goals to develop a whole school approach to teaching and learning.

 Professional Learning goal: 2 is a personal area of your teaching. It could link to increasing knowledge within Positive Education, the 5 domains of the Learning and
Teaching Cycle, a Leadership development through involvement within the Brown Collective or another Leadership course, specific classroom skills such as
independent learning, the big 6, critical thinking, digital Literacy or problem solving for your students.

Both Professional Learning goals are to be linked to the AITSL Australian Professional Standards for Teachers. (See column 1.)

The template is for you to complete to assist your planning.

For assistance in how to complete the sections please refer to the Teacher Professional Review document – A step by step guide.

Please email the completed template before Monday May 6 to Daniel Stratford.

Your Term 4 professional review discussion will focus on this plan and the folio of evidence that you have collected along the way.
