INTRODUCTION

1.1.Background

Everyone wants to realize the goals. One of them is with the school. The
school is a great place for us to study and get education. School also is an institution
designed for teaching of the students under the supervision of teachers. In school,
we were taught a lot of lessons that will be a provision for us later.

We also often said that school is a second home. Because almost every day
we spend our time in the school. Often we feel bored with the situation in the school.
Therefore, we would want good schools and comfortable to study.

Comfortable and good it s meant were , good in terms of program school

programs that are run, good in terms of activities in the and outside the school, good
in terms of appearance a school like school buildings. Comfortable can also be seen
in terms of facilities the school, is it enough and comfortable to learn

Every year, each school usually change performance in the school, ranging
from changes in the form of the building, regulatory changes, changes in learning
systems, changes in school programs, and others - others.

SMA Plus Negeri 17 Palembang is one of the top schools in Palembang.

SMA 17 itself has done a lot of changes, ranging from the shape of the building,
the school programs, and more. One indicator that the main point for the writer is,
change performance of the school in terms of the building. Because, SMA 17 is
now often make minor changes and improvements in the corner of the school to be
better than ever.

Therefore, the appearance of the school was also very necessary for each
school. Because, the appearance is the first thing that could interesting heart of
someone to see even interested to attend school there. Based on this background,
the writer will do interview on students' perceptions of school performance.
