Facebook unveils new

corporate logo
Facebook's new logo which will be used for the
company - not the app. The app will keep the same
logo.
Facebook has announced a new company logo to further distinguish
the company from its app.
Antonio Lucio, Facebook's chief marketing officer, said in a statement
the company hopes the change will make it “clearer about the products
that come from Facebook”.
“The new branding was designed for clarity, and uses custom
typography and capitalisation to create visual distinction between the
company and app,” Mr Lucio said.
“People should know which companies make the products they use.
“Our main services include the Facebook app, Messenger, Instagram,
WhatsApp, Oculus, Workplace, Portal and Calibre.”
He added the company included “from Facebook” labelling within its
apps from June this year.
“Over the coming weeks, we will start using the new brand within our
products and marketing materials, including a new company website,”
Mr Lucio said.
“This brand change is a way to better communicate our ownership
structure to the people and businesses who use our services to
connect, share, build community and grow their audiences.”
The Facebook app, however, will keep the same logo.

Anybody involved in F1 knows just
how hard it is to achieve finishes,
points, podiums, victories and a
championship at this level. Let
alone six.
Lewis must be fully recognised in
every way for his sporting success
to date, while not forgetting he's
also risking his good health and life
to deliver those
global victories.
I'm in awe of his
relentless
achievements,
and I have no
doubt he is one
of the UK's
greatest-ever
sportsmen.
Furthermore,
there can be no
realistic debate
about 'greatest
racing drivers of
all time' without
including Lewis.
The physical and mental
challenge over so many years is
immense. Lewis has his own
unique way of counterbalancing
that with his personal life interests,
as the millions who follow him on
social media know well. He
certainly had a team of A-listers in
his corner in Austin, and whether
you appreciate that or not, he's
more box-office than the rest of F1
put together.

Australian national made peace with victims after
alleged drunken attack
Bali Police have
confirmed that Scott
James Harrison, an
Australian national
who was detained last
week after he allegedly
attacked security
guards at a Kuta hotel
while he was drunk, has
made peace with his
victims and therefore
released from custody.
“It means that the case is put to a
stop, as both parties have chosen
an alternative dispute resolution,” I

The 40-year-old was detained last
week after he allegedly went on a
rampage and lashed out at the
security guards of the hotel he was
staying at in Kuta, who were trying
to calm him down.

bruises and went on to file a police
report soon after the incident.
Harrison might have dodged a
bullet there, as he could've faced a
maximum sentence of two years
and eight months in prison for the
alleged assault under Indonesia's
criminal code.
