Indonesian Government
is formally evaluating
Pelindo III's development
and reclamation of the
Port of Benoa. The Deputy in
charge of Infrastructure for the
Coordinating Maritime Ministry,
Ridwan Djamaluddin, confirmed
that the evaluation underway
reflects an agreement reached
after considering the
environmental impact of the
reclamation undertaken by PT
Pelindo III at the South Bali Port.
Djamaluddin explained that the
initial evaluation performed by the
Government concluded that the
reclamation of an 85-hectare area
of the port must be halted.
Meanwhile, Pelindo III has been
ordered to redesign the port to
provide for 17-hectares of
reforested mangrove forests
based on expert advice from the
Bogor Institute of Agriculture
(IPB).
Djamaluddin said that during the
entire process of conserving the
port area, PT Pelindo III and the
Port Master Office of Benoa will

12 lasagna noodles
16 ounces ricotta cheese
1 egg
3/4 pound mozzarella cheese, sliced
3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

In a Dutch oven, cook sausage, ground beef, onion, and garlic
over medium heat until well browned. Stir in crushed tomatoes,
tomato paste, tomato sauce, and water. Season with sugar,
basil, fennel seeds, Italian seasoning, 1 teaspoon salt, pepper,
and 2 tablespoons parsley. Simmer, covered, for about 1 1/2
hours, stirring occasionally.
Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook lasagna
noodles in boiling water for 8 to 10 minutes. Drain noodles, and
rinse with cold water. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese
with egg, remaining parsley, and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
To assemble, spread 1 1/2 cups of meat sauce in the bottom of a
9x13 inch baking dish. Arrange 6 noodles lengthwise over meat
sauce. Spread with one half of the ricotta cheese mixture. Top
with a third of mozzarella cheese slices. Spoon 1 1/2 cups meat
sauce over mozzarella, and sprinkle with 1/4 cup Parmesan
cheese. Repeat layers, and top with remaining mozzarella and
Parmesan cheese. Cover with foil: to prevent sticking, either
spray foil with cooking spray, or make sure the foil does not touch
the cheese.
Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove foil, and bake
an additional 25 minutes. Cool for 15 minutes before serving.

Geelong champion Gary Ablett is
the last man standing.
There is something fitting about
the little master being the only
player remaining from the famous
2001 super draft following Luke
Hodge's retirement on Saturday
night.
But is he the best player from a
cohort which has yielded 29 flags,
seven Brownlow medals and six
Norm Smith medals?
Brisbane's finals exit means Ablett
will carry the
flag for his 2001
brethren for at
least six days.
And if he calls it
quits at the end
of the season, it
will complete a
lineage which
has spanned 17
seasons among
74 players
taken by 16
clubs in the
finest National
Draft in AFL
history.
There has been
countless redrafts since. But
foxfooty.com.au decided to ask
those who lived it, with one
supposedly simple question to a
selection of players taken in the
2001 draft: Who should be
regarded as the best player from
their group?
It was made clear the best player
does not mean the most decorated
individual, though premierships
and individual accolades would
surely play a part in separating the
best from the rest.
But aside from that, it was left to
eight 2001 draftees and long-time
AFL talent manager Kevin 'Shifter'
Sheehan to interpret the question
however they saw fit. Some
elected to pick a player based on

how dominant he was at his peak –
like Chris Judd in his early West
Coast Eagles days – while others
went for the overall package,
referring to leadership and
longevity.

Luke Ball's agonised over his
answer for longer than any other
interviewee. Ultimately, he settled
on Ablett, but only just.
For the second pick in the 2001
draft, Chris Judd and Ablett were
almost impossible to split.
“The best is probably Ablett by a
short half-head,” Ball told
Foxfooty.com.au.
“Judd was incredible and Hodge
has the best resume. If we kept
talking I could change my mind
coming into spring. Ablett's my
final answer.”
Ablett also received glowing
endorsements from Leigh
Montagna (Pick 37) and Henry
Playfair (Pick 41).
“Gary Ablett is clearly the best
from that draft. I think he's in the
top three players of all time,”
Montagna said.

“I am a bit biased but I think
Gazza,” Playfair said.
“I like the fact he's the last one
standing. He was the pick after me

“His ability to find it and then use it
cleanly is what makes him so
good. He's in the conversation as
the best player of all time. His old
man was more mercurial but

Nick Dal Santo (Pick 13) went
head-to-head with Judd, Swan,
Ablett and co. for close to 15 years.
And like his old teammate Ball, he
thought long and hard before
settling on Ablett as the best of the
lot.
“You could say Judd quite easily,
but I think Ablett was at a higher
level for longer,”
Dal Santo said.
“After a slow-

Kuta Weekly For too long it has been
said that rugby league is
becoming overly bland
and robotic.
Free-flowing creative prowess
and natural brawn have
diminished in a game which has
been sanitised by players who
complete, win the wrestle and
tick statistical boxes.
But every now and then
somebody comes along who
bucks that trend, reminding you
of why you fell in love with the
game in the first place.
Maika Sivo, whose smile is
infectious and whose arrival to
this level alone is the definition of
unorthodox, has the ability to do
just that.
oming from a Fijian village on a
whim to play bush football he has
found his way to the top grade in
just a handful of seasons.
That boy's own tale is coupled
with an innate ability to wreak
havoc upon opposition defences
— as the Broncos found out on
Sunday afternoon.
It's no wonder here then, at
Bankwest Stadium, he forces the
loudest of cheers and groans

And he could have had so many
more.
Statistics are irrelevant to some.
Maybe they are to Sivo, too. He
doesn't know the rules, so they
say.
But for everybody inside
Bankwest Stadium on Sunday he
was the thrill-a-minute, high-
octane 6ft4 bundle of excitement
on the wing.
As long as there are players like
Sivo, rugby league won't become
robotic anytime soon.
In fact, a player of his ability can
make you fall in love with the
game all over again.

for his hit to Schofield during

Christian assessed Hawkins'
striking charge as intentional
conduct with low impact and high
contact, equating to a one-match
sanction.
But speaking on SEN's Whateley,
King said Geelong could mount a
case that Hawkins was “100 per
cent in play” — an argument that, if
successful, would downgrade the
conduct charge from 'intentional'
to 'careless' and, therefore, reduce
the penalty from a suspension to a
fine.
King said he could see why
Geelong might claim Hawkins was
