CLEAN UP DRIVE

NARRATIVE REPORT
One of the activities conducted last July 31,2019 after the nutrition month celebration
was the first clean-up drive which covers the whole Brarangay Cawagayan. Clean –up
projects was started and will be continuously implemented every last day of the month.
The cleaning of canals, roads and pathways along purok Dalia to purok Everlasting
started at 2:30 to 5:00 o’clock in the afternoon, all teachers and some barangay officials,
parents and students of Cawagayan National High School activity participated in the
realization of the activity
The clean-up drive was done with the collaboration from the barangay to prevent
inhabitation of mosquitoes which may spread dengue and other diseases. Waste segregation
was also observed during the clean-up t encourage the community to avoid burning of
garbage which contributed to global warming and severely affecting the health of individual
and to advocate entrepreneurship thru selling segregated recyclable waste like plastic, cans
and bottles. The conduct of this activity is also to awake the youth on how to take care the
environment and make history that reflect or concern in the community.
