Problem
One of the problems in this place is the garbage such as (Cellophanes, Plastic bottles, a
broken bulb, diapers and etc.). Not only that, even animal waste is present in that
stream. According to some resident there that because of the pollutants and
contamination, if this problem will not be solved on time maybe after 10 years this
stream will not be suitable for the fishes to live on or in short inhabitable. Not only that, it
may affect also to the people who lived there, some people complained that their
children got sick because of the unpleasant smell. Now a days fishes that comes from
the streams of Esperanza is not right to eat because the condition of the water is
polluted. Another thing is, as the years goes by the level of the water is decreasing and
maybe will lead to dryness.
Reason
The main reason or causes of pollution is the population growth, they continue to
multiply, but the developing in coping the waste has not kept up. As their population
gets bigger their residential waste gets bigger too. As what we observe in this barangay
we don’t see any garbage cans to segregate their waste for me this is also one factor
why their stream or even ponds is polluted.

Solution
As what we had observe that they aren’t knowledgeable in coping with garbage, so
what if their leaders will make a movement or a campaign which focuses on solid waste
so that they will gain enough knowledge in coping with garbage. A campaign which can
help them realize how important the streams, rivers and all bodies of water to their lives.
Not all that it also, implies the protection of water as well as the proper segregation.
Instead of throwing it what if they will use it to another useful things or in short recycling.

What if they will make a big compost pit so that they will make use it as their garbage
landfill and to reduce the waste in streams. The people of Brgy. Esperanza will make a
clean-up drive movement not only in lands but also in the bodies of water
