What MLA Formatting Is
MLA formatting is a specific set of guidelines used to write essays and research papers.
MLA stands for the Modern Language Association. When using this format for your paper you
will have doubled spaced paragraphs, one-inch page margins, and a header that includes the
author’s name, the professor’s name, class title and the date. The header will also be double-
spaced.

FIELD TRIP TO THE ZOO!

Wednesday September 18th our third-grade class will be going on its first
field trip of the school year!
Buses will leave from the school at 9 a.m. and will return to school at 2
p.m.
We are learning about reptiles in Science, so I have arranged for a guided
tour of the Reptile House!
