TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Aspiring Bidders / Contractors who have not registered in e-procurement should register before
participating through the website https://eproc.karnataka.gov.in
2. Before submission of online bids, bidders must ensure that scanned copies of all the necessary
documents have been attached with bid.
3. Work Completion Certificate for having completed at least one work of similar nature of value not
less than the estimated value of Contract, certified from the Competent Authority not below the
Rank of Executive Engineer shall be uploaded. The Work Completion Certificate shall mention the
Nature of Work, Items of Work executed and the Date of Commencement and Date of Completion
of the Work.
4. The Tenderers shall upload the valid & present Certificate copies of PAN,CGST / SGST., Service
Tax Registration No, Contractor’s Registration Pass Book for technical bid qualification eligibility.
5. Certified Xerox copy of Valid Registration Certificate issued by B.B.M.P for the Block period of
2010-2015 should be produced by the qualified Contractor at the time of Agreement.
6. Procurement of works use of standard Tender Document SC / ST Contractor for Go No. FD
480 Exp 12/2014 dated: 19-07-2014
7. All the information required for Bids must be filled and submitted online as per KW-1 Rs.
5.00 to 20.00 lakhs, KW-2 Rs. 20 to 50.00 lakhs, KW-3 Rs. 50 to 100.00 lakhs, KW-4 Rs. 100
Lakhs Above.

10. Conditional tenders will not be accepted. As per Govt order No.LD/300/LET/2006, Dated:
18/01/2007 and Addl. Commissioner (Finance) No. BBMP/CAO/PR/07-08 Dated : 03/08/2007 the
building construction labourers welfare ces (1% of Est cost) will be deducted from the Building
and other construction works in every running bill and also in the final bill of the contractor
11. The contractor is not eligible for submission of application for tender form if he has not
participated tenders after purchase of the tender document continuously for the three times.
12. As per the Government Order No.(CAO/Budget:647/209-10 Date:24.05.2010) Deduction of
Royalty form the bills of the Contractors working in Civil works, if the Contractor proves that
aspect of the matter then the Department/ work executing agency cannot recover or deduct any
royalty from the bills of the contractor, if the documents/ MDP’s are produced from the quarry
lease holders or Private quarry owners in this regard then the contractor is not liable to pay the
royalty charges
13. Necessary taxes and other deductions will be made from Contractor bills.
14. The Successful bidder will have to execute an agreement with BBMP within 7 days of receipt of
intimation, failing which his tender is liable to be rejected.
15. The Commissioner decision is ultimate. The Commissioner, Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara
Palike reserves the right to accept / reject any or the entire tender’s without assigning any
reasons.
16. The work shall be carried out as per the directions of the BBMP and the Engineer-In-Charge.

 17. The tenders should have to produce contractors registration book issued by the concerned authority
for procurement of tender documents. Applicant should submit proof registration, latest Income tax
clearance Certificate with cerel copy, obtained from the concerned Department and to submit
financial Turnover balance sheet for the last 5 years duly attested by the Charted Accountant while
submitting the request for application for the Tender Schedules, otherwise the application will be
rejected.
18. Bidders / Contractors should attach all the scanned copies of Technical documents / Certificates
pertaining to their Eligiblity criteria mentioned above in the Website itself, failing which, the bid
will not be considered. The original documents should be produced for verification at any stage of
tender process as and when sought for, failing which, the bids are liable for disqualification.
19. The work should be commenced with all earnestness within 7 days from the date of Work Order,
failing which it would be presumed that he is not interested in the work and action will be taken to
get the work executed through alternate agency at the risk and cost of the former Tenderer.
20. Corrigendum’s/ modifications / corrections, if any, will be published in the website only.
21. If any Lumpsum provisions in Sanctioned Estimate should be got approved from the Competent
Autority.
22. The Tender Notification along with Blank Tender Form will be accessible in the eprocurement
Website (www.eproc.Karnataka.gov.in)
23. Within 7 days of receipt of the Letter of Acceptance, the successful Tenderer shall deliver to the
Employer a Security deposit for an amount equivalent to 5% of the Contract price.
24. The EMD and FSD amount will be returned after successful completion as per the BBMP
Commissioner Circulars from Time to Time
25. Procurement of works use of standard tender documents Revision Go No.
FD/480/Exp-12/2014 Dated: 19-07-2014 and Go No. FD 876/Exp -12/2017 Bengalore
Dated: 10-10-2017 will be applicable who belongs to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled
Tribe Category.
26. The tenderer shall have own RIG registered with Karnataka ground water authority. And
shall have to produce Form 7‘A’ in original & valid for Borewell works.
27. Certified Xerox copy of the valid registration certificate (Electrical Licence) issued for the
present block period for Borewell works.
