Dear Parents,

PTA Update: At our recent PTA-AGM the following parents’ nominees to the Board of
Management were selected. Mothers’ nominee is Stella Murphy and fathers’ nominee is Eamon
Duffy. Sincere thanks to Stella and Eamon for agreeing to act as parents nominees on the new
Board of Management which will be put in place over the coming weeks.

I want to acknowledge and thank outgoing parent nominees Paula Greenan and Hugh Sherlock
for their dedication and input to the Board of Management over the past four years. I have
enjoyed working with them on our board and our school has benefitted from their involvement.

Ardaghey High Hill Drama & Choral Society: Ardaghey High Hill Drama & Choral Society
presents Country/Folk Extravagansa in Ardaghey Community Centre on Wednesday 20th
November, Saturday 23rd November and Sunday 24th November @ 8p.m. nightly.
Admission by ticket only- €10each.
The Choral Society has very kindly offered to share the proceeds of this concert with our school
and the Ardaghey Community Childcare. This is an extremely generous offer and we very much
appreciate their support.
We would hope that any families who are free would support this community initiative, even
more so now that they are supporting us!

The committee have asked if any of our parents could give them a hand with car parking or
selling of raffle tickets at the interval each night. If you are available to help please contact Nora
(087 2110348) or any committee member.

On my own behalf and on behalf of the rest of the staff can I offer my very best wishes to
Dympna, the various members of our Board of Management and to the parents and grandparents
of our pupils. Break a leg!

Voicemail messages: A reminder that we don’t have an answering machine in the office and the
answering service that Eir provide can be ‘hit and miss’. If you have an important message please
don’t leave a voicemail on the school number as I can’t guarantee that I’ll get it.
