Introduction:-
According to school learning teary leaving is a
cognitive process that takes place in social cortex through
observation a modeling. We learn by observing behavior
and the positive a negative result of that behavior. The
learner plays a active role in this process and received in
formation.

Theory :-
Social learning theory by bandura and wallets in 1963,
key tents of social learning theory and as-
1. Learning is not purely behavioral; rather it is a
cognitive process that takes place in social context.
2. Learning involves observing a behavior ( vicarious
reinforcement)
3. Learning can accrue by observation, interaction of
information from those observation (observational
learning or modeling
4. Reinforce went plays a role in learning but is not
entirely responsible for learning.
5. The learner is not a passive recipient of information.
Cognition, environment and behavior all mutually
influence each other (reciprocal determinism)
Modeling and underlying cognitive process
Social learning theory of banduras identified three models
for stimulating this observation and modeling learning
process.
1. Live models: - Where a person is the desired
behavior.
2. Verbal instruction: - In which an individual
describes the desire behavior in detail and instructs
the participant in how to emerge in the behavior.
3. Symbolic:- In which modeling occurs by means the
media, including moving, television, internet,
literature and radio. Stimuli can be either real or
fictional characters.
Social learning theory to improve instructional
strategies
 Attention - Attentions imparted by characteristic the
observer (E= g perceptual obesities, arousal the) and
characteristic of behavior event.
 Retention - Cognitive capabilities a cognitive rehearsal and
event and underlying in retention procedure.
 Reproductions - This squishes a degree of cognitive skill
and may in some cases require sensor motor capabilities.
 Motivation – Bandera's description of motivation is also
fundamentally based on environmental a thus social factors.
Application-
 Criminology
 Developmental psychology
 Management
 Media violence
 Psycho therapy
 School psychology etc.
