a. Tools
- PH stick
- Test Tube
- Stationery
b. Materials
- Soil
- Solution H2o2
- Solution HCL

1.3 Step by step

a. First prepare the ingredients and tools
b. Take a test tube, then put a little soil into it
c. Then mix the H2O2 solution and HCL solution into the test tube containing the soil
d. Set aside a few moments, then take the soil PH stick
e. Then turn on the on off button on the ph stick, then place the ph meter into the
mixture of ingredients earlier, let stand a few moments
f. Then see the results of the ph stick, then write it down in the notes provided

1.4 Result and Discussion

a. Result
- Soil sample 1 : Acidity level 7
- Soil sample 2 : Acidity level 10
b. Discussion
Soil PH is acidity or basicity of an object measured on a PH scale between 0-
14. An object is said to be icidic if the PH scale number is less than 7 and is called
base if the PH scale is more the 7. If the PH is scale is 7 then the object it is neutral,
neither acidic nor basic. The acidity of the soil itself can be measured using a PH
meters or PH stick by mixing some solution. From the above studies each soil has a
different acidity level. Like soil sample 1 has acidity level 7 which means soil sample
one can be said to be neutral. Whereas in soil samples 2 the numbers on the ph stick
indicate the number 10 soil has a high base level
