The Role Responsibilities

 Ability to understand & analyse the bank’s performance and its drivers
 Responsible to perform independent analysis end-to-end; from data sourcing, structuring to an output suitable
for the consumptions of senior management
 Ability to understand the strategic objectives of the bank, how they are tracked and their drivers; analyse
enablers of bank’s objectives
 Understand all the P&L and B&S measures well to help design and create analysis that suit specific outcomes
and can be shared with Businesses/Functions directly
 Strong understanding of the bank's products and its drivers
 Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
 Work closely with upstream and downstream process to improve processes and establish good understanding
of context and relevance to deliverables
 Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
 Support functional change initiatives as an SME
 Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools,
and Excel dashboards
 Engage stakeholders on outcomes to ensure they are clearly articulated and explained
 Ability to compare the performance of the bank with its peers and arrive at analytical conclusions

KEY COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE


 Strong Understanding of banking products and segments.
 Strong Influencing and negotiation skills apt to have meaningful discussions with senior stakeholders
 Has experience in the field of Financial Planning & Analysis, Variance Analysis, MI Reporting, Closing & Reporting
activities.
 Ability to understand key business drivers & the application of those to the relevant Performance management reporting
processes.
 Strong capability to understand financial statements and the drivers thereof in order to synthesize them into meaningful
analysis as required.
 A leader, a team player with the management ability and track record to secure the confidence and respect of the peers,
stakeholders and the executive management team.
 Ability to culturally orient in diverse & international team environment and lead and inspire multi-disciplinary teams.
 Ability to work effectively under pressure, multi task, lead from the front, influence where he/she does not have direct
authority & build on unstructured formative situations.

Our Ideal Candidate


 CA/CWA/CS/CIMA/CPA or MBA with 10+ years of predominantly FP&A experience in Bank.
 Effective communication skills, including presenting and influencing senior management.
 Excellent Excel & PowerPoint skills
 Excellent written and oral communication skills.
 Hands on and extensive experience in managing big data
 Effective people and strong project management skills.
 Leadership skills and ability to influence & negotiate with others in decision making.
 Relationship and stakeholder management skills are important.
 Initiative and proactive thinking.
