I chose to join FFA because I wanted to experience something new.

A few years ago, I had a senior FFA

member tell me all about FFA and all the fun experiences you have while still becoming a better person.
My family has been a part of FFA in the past and they told me about all of the cool experiences it does
for you as well. I’ve been so excited to join ever since. Also, I thought that it would be really cool to go to
all of the events and compete. I also love to travel and see new places and in FFA there are many
opportunities to travel. Finally, the main reason why I joined was to become a leader and to find career
success in the future.

If I had my own jacket it would mean the world to me! I am so excited to finally be in FFA so if I had a
jacket it would make it so much better. I feel like I would represent my school and the FFA jacket well
while competing or during community service. Agriculture is something that my family has always loved
and has been a part of agriculture in many ways. I feel like if I had an FFA jacket it would tie me to
agriculture even more.

In FFA, I am most excited to travel and see new places with my friends and one of my favorite teachers
ever! I am also very excited to learn new things about agriculture and experience leadership events. I am
also excited to learn about agricultural careers and become a better public speaker. FFA will also help
me with other extracurricular activities such as speech. I can’t wait to go to nationals
