Statement of Purpose

I have always wished for a good education which would provide me with a strong footing in my
ever growing career in the field of Computers. Hence, having done an inspiring two-year course
in Computer Science, I would like to pursue PhD degree in Computer Science / Software
Engineering. I look up to complete PhD studies to refine my knowledge and skills in my areas of
interest. I believe it will also serve my career goal as an entrepreneur of a research-oriented
organization. Therefore I intend to pursue PhD's degree in order to achieve that goal.

The field of research during my MS (CS) degree was "Load Balancing in Cloud Computing".
The development of the application provided evenly distribution of the load for incoming tasks
over the cloud. The cloud end has a load balancer module which observes all resource capacities
as well as capabilities. The motivation for selecting this particular topic for my research was my
deep rooted interest Big Data (Data Mining) / Load Balancing in Cloud Environment. I have
already studied different load balancing techniques used in cloud environment which serve the
users in efficient manner. I plan to enhance my knowledge by adding together data mining with
load balancing in big data for cloud environment to serve user requests efficiently.

Having acquired a solid foundation in the field of computer science through a rigorous MS
program, and my present job as an R & D Software Engineer in Computer Sciences, I feel that it
is the right time to undertake PhD studies. I wish to raise my understanding of the nuances of the
Computer Science field and use this knowledge to put my efforts in Cloud Environment for
research-oriented organization in Software Category.

The PhD program in Computer Science will undoubtedly provide me with the desired
knowledge, skills and experience to pursue that dream and exploit the opportunities to the fullest
extent. I am confident that my exposure to such initiatives would augment my knowledge base
and add tremendous value enabling me to realize my professional goals.

In conclusion, I would like to add that the essence of University education lies in the synergetic
relationship between the student and his department. I feel that postgraduate study at your
University will be the most logical extension of my academic pursuits and a major step towards
achieving my objectives. I would be grateful to you if I’m accorded the opportunity to pursue my
graduate studies with financial assistance at your institution and am able to justify your faith in
