For my microteaching, the literature text used is “Pak Pandir, the Village Fool” by Kays Larnon.

The story
of Pak Pandir was originally written in Bahasa Melayu but then some of the series was translated in to
English language. Based on the lesson standard for lesson 22, the objectives of the lesson is students
should be able to retell the story.

Teaching Material 1

A. Name of material/teaching aid

The name of this material is the cover page of Pak Pandir’s Books.

Pak Pandir dengan Gergasi.

B. Target Group

The class is a form two class with intermediate proficiency levels. This materials will cater to all of the
students in the class.

C. Objectives/Purpose of material/ teaching aid

The purpose of this material is to attract the students’ attention towards the lesson of the day. As Pak
Pandir is a famous character in Malay fable, this material also act as a hint for the students to expect what
is the text going to be about. Both cover page of the books relate to the text that going to be discuss.

D. Detailed description of material/teaching aid

Even though, the cover page was not authentic as only the picture of it was used, it still can provide
