appropriately in guided writing at sentence level.
OBJECTIVES
Main: At the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to plan,
draft and write at least 4 simple sentences correctly using
information transfer.
Complementary: At the end of the lesson, pupils will be
able to use capital letters and full stops in at least 4
sentences correctly.
IMPACT/REFLECTION
Pre-lesson: Pupils are asked if they have been to any other
countries outside of Malaysia.
Lesson delivery:
1. Pupils refer to textbook page 112. Pupils silently read the
texts about countries in Activity 1(M). Pupils are guided to
read the texts (L).
2. Pupils are asked about the words that they don’t
understand and meanings are explained.
3. Pupils identify the countries in the pictures in Activity 1
based on the texts.
4. Examples are shown on making a poster and writing
about our country. Pupils are explained on what to add to
the poster.
5. Pupils complete the poster of promoting Malaysia (M).
Pupils are guided to complete the poster by the mini
teachers (L).
Post-lesson: Pupils’ poster are pasted around the class.

OBJECTIVES
Main: At the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to give at
least 2 short instructions to their friends correctly.
Complementary: At the end of the lesson, pupils will be
able to listen to at least 2 short instructions by their friends
and teacher to paste the pictures correctly.
IMPACT/REFLECTION
Pre-lesson: Pupils refer to textbook page 113. Pupils are
asked about what they can see in the picture.
Lesson delivery:
1. Pupils are given a copy of page 113 or a copy for a pair.
A copy of pictures from page 133 are given too.
2. Pupils are explained about the listening activity. Pupils
listen to teacher’s instructions and paste 3 pictures first on
to the beach picture.
3. Pupils in pairs talk about their beach picture.
Ex: The boat is in the sea. Pupils take turns to direct their
partners to paste the remaining two pictures.
Post-lesson: Pupils walk around and share about where
they pasted two more pictures in the picture of the beach.
*Pupils are informed to read about batik and bring articles.

Main: At the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to
respond by sharing at least 2 suitable details from their
article reading.
Complementary: At the end of the lesson, pupils will be
able to listen and colour at least 3 numbers correctly.
IMPACT/REFLECTION
Pre-lesson: Pupils get ready with their articles about Batik.
Lesson delivery:
1. Pupils are directed to conduct a think-pair-share session
in their groups about their reading on Batik.
2. The word Batik is written on the board and pupils are
called out to write what they have shared in their groups
for everyone to know.
3. Pupils are given a batik colouring paper. Pupils listen to
teacher’s instruction and colour the picture. Colours based
on numbers shared by the teacher.
4. Teacher and pupils conduct the activity.
Post-lesson: Pupils’ batik colourings are pasted around the
class like art gallery.

OBJECTIVES
Main: At the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to listen
and find at least 4 correct pictures and sentences.
Complementary: At the end of the lesson, pupils will be
able to recognise words and find at least 3 correct
sentences for the questions.
IMPACT/REFLECTION
Pre-lesson: Pupils do a recap on prepositions that they
already know.
Lesson delivery:
1. Each group is given a set of pictures and sentences.
2. Pupils must listen to the teacher’s questions and look for
the correct pictures and sentences for the questions. Pupils
paste in a paper provided by the teacher.
3. Teacher walks around the class to check pupils’
answers.
4. Pupils play the station game. Each game is given a
puzzle. Pupils must arrange and write a sentence on what
they can see on the picture in their exercise books.
5. Pupils move to all stations to complete all the puzzles.
Post-lesson: Pupils’ answers are checked.

Pre-lesson: Pupils are asked about their vacation plans in
the future.
Lesson delivery:
1. ‘What would you bring when you travel for the
holidays?’ question is written on the board.
2. Pupils are asked to write the question in their exercise
books, write the place they would like to visit and
brainstorm what would they bring in a graphic organiser.
3. Pupils are asked to go around and share with three
other friends about their plans. They must also explain the
reasons of bringing the things. (Maximum: 3 reasons for 3
things). Ex: I would like to go to….and I would bring………
Post-lesson: Pupils share their discussion with friends with
the class.
