1. Pupils look at ‘The King of Kites’ book cover. Ask Wh-questions about the
cover. Ex: What do you think this boy likes to do?

LESSON DEVELOPMENT :
2. Pupils conduct a think-pair-share session in their groups to discuss their
predictions of the story.
T&L ACTIVITIES : 3. Pupils share their answers and are introduced to the features of the book
cover (title, authors, synopsis and etc).
4. Pupils are given ‘Things You Need’ graphic organisers. Pupils skim through
the book and look for pages that matches the title of the graphic organisers.
5. Pupils complete the graphic organisers.

Comp. objective : fill in 10 blanks to complete an email

1. Pupils are required to watch the youtube video in order to learn how to write an
email.
2. Pupils who have understood the step can move to the live worksheet to answer the
questions which are to fill in the blanks with information given to complete the email.
ACTIVITIES :
3. Pupils can move to the written exercise after that.
4. In written exercise, pupils have to write an email to a friend, telling about their
hobbies.
5. Pupils submit their written work through GC or whatsapp.
