Facilities

The proposed layout of buildings for the development of the Housing Project in Brgy.

Ayaas, Tayabas City, Quezon will include the construction of apartment type buildings, covered

court, elevated water tank and drainage system. All the dimensions for these facilities will be

discuss in the next chapter together with the architectural plans to get the appropriate measurement

for all these facilities. Standards and specifications with accordance to the codes are obeyed in the

construction of these facilities.

Apartment Type Buildings

The housing project will provide two four-storey and two three-storey apartment type

building. It contain set of rooms to be use by informal settlers and employees from the city of

Tayabas, Quezon. Each room has one bedroom, a bathroom, a kitchen sink and there will be a

hallway in room’s exit.

Covered Court

Covered court will serve as a standard of care for the occupants of the house where people

of all ages and skill levels can enjoy a variety of activities and it aimed at enhancing, learning and

enjoyment. The covered court is open to all inhabitants in the area. It can be used for basketball

and volleyball purposes. Various activities such as receptions, recreational activities, programs,

etc. can be done by the homeowner to the covered court.

Elevated Water Tank

The water distribution system of the housing project transports water from the elevated

water tank going to all the users. Water supply system is provided to distribute potable water to

the inhabitants in the area and it can also be use for domestic purposes. The sizes and dimensions

of the materials used in the construction of the water tank are presented in the next chapter

complying to the demand of the population.

Drainage System

Drainage system for this housing project will minimise the impact of flooding by safely

carrying storm water away from the building. This drainage system will be connected to the current

drainage system of the city.


The design basiss will comply the requirements of the Deparment of Public Works and

Highways (DPWH).
