CHAPTER 1

PRELIMINARY

A. BACKGROUND

Intraco Penta Tbk (INTA) was established on 10 May 1975 and started its business activities

commercial in 1975. The head office is located Intraco Jl. Raya Cakung Cilincing

Km. 3.5 Jakarta 14130, while INTA branches located in various cities in

Indonesia.

Shareholders who own 5% or more stock Intraco Penta Tbk, namely: PT

Spallindo Adilong (controllers) (10.64%), PT Shalumindo Investama (controllers)

(9.79%), HPAM Ultima Equity 1 (8.17%), Jimmy Halim (7.70%) and Petrus Halim

(5.21%).

Currently, INTA has a subsidiary which is listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, namely

Intan Baruprana Finance Tbk (IBFN).

Under the Company's Articles of Association, the scope of activities of INTA especially

includes the trading and leasing of heavy equipment and spare parts, as well as

provide services related to the assembly and workshop. time

This, Intraco and the subsidiary running the heavy equipment distribution business both new

as well as the former, financing, leasing heavy style, manufacturing, engineering to

On June 30, 1993, INTA received an effective statement from Bapepam-LK

to perform INTA Initial Public Offering (IPO) to the public

2. A Brief History of establishment of the Company PT. Intraco Penta Tbk.

Intraco Penta Tbk (INTA) was established on 10 May 1975 under the name of UD Intraco and started its
commercial operations in 1975. Intraco Penta (INTA) is a solution provider of heavy equipment in
Indonesia. Intraco head office is located Jl. Raya Cakung Cilincing Km. 3.5 Jakarta 14130, while INTA
branches located in several cities in Indonesia.

Under the Company's Articles of Association, the scope of activities of INTA mainly covering the fields of
trade and rental of heavy equipment and spare parts, as well as providing services related to the assembly
and workshop. Currently, Intraco and the subsidiary running the heavy equipment distribution business both
new and used, financing, leasing heavy style, manufacturing, engineering to contractors

1970 - UD Intraco, a commercial enterprise engaged in trading of spare parts, was established in Jakarta.

1975 - Being Company Limited [PT], and changed its name to PT Intraco Penta.

1982 - Appointed become distributor of PD Pamitran NV, a distributor of heavy equipment Clark Equipment.

1984 - Trust to sell Renault trucks.

1991 - Adding to the list of heavy equipment, Farm Tractor Lamborghini and Bell.

1992 - Acquires NV PD Pamitran well as a brand holder for VME, P & H / PPM, and Bobcat.

1993 - Listed on the Jakarta Stock Exchange [now Indonesia Stock Exchange] on June 30, with 29 million
shares to acquire Rp29 billion.

2001 - Started implementation of SAP for Information Technology Company, an integrated ERP system.

2003 - Acquires Diamond Baruprana Finance [IBF]. After the acquisition, the business field IBFN become heavy
equipment financing company.

2004 - Noting the increase in sales by 50% and revenue growth of 240%.

2005 - Capital INTA rose by 133%.

2006 - Total assets Intan Baruprana Finance (IBF) has increased five-fold, where IBF is also rated as one of
the best leasing company in Indonesia for three times in a row.

2007 - Launch the Decade of Innovation as the Company's strategic theme, in its efforts to continue growth
and other business opportunities.

2008 - INTA record total revenue to reach more than Rp 1 trillion, 141% increase in net income.

2009 - Inta maintain total income over Rp 1 trillion, while net profit rose by 63.3%, despite lower demand
due to the global economic crisis and was appointed as a dealer of Mahindra & SDLG.

2010 - INTA acquired Terra Factor Indonesia [TFI] and Columbia Chrome Indonesia [CCI] with transaction
value amounting to Rp170 billion, and establish Sharia in the IBF.

2011 - Inta set new records in financial performance, with total assets reached 3.7 trillion and 3 trillion
revenue. INTA is believed to be the sole distributor in Indonesia for Sinotruk's market brand products from
Cina.2010 - INTA acquired Terra Factor Indonesia [TFI] and Columbia Chrome Indonesia [CCI] with
transaction value amounting to Rp170 billion, and establish Sharia in the IBF.

2012 - INTA entry in the LQ45 index in the Indonesia Stock Exchange, as well as included in the list of 50
Best Companies Indonesia Forbes Indonesia and became a Top Performing Company Investor magazine.

2013 - INTA through PT Intraco Penta Prima Servis [IPPS] won the competition among mechanical South East
Asia HUB Volvo Masters Champion 2013-2014 Volvo Construction Equipment held for the level of Southeast
Asia and the Asia-Pacific [including Australia and New Zealand].

2014 - On May 2, 2014, inaugurating INTA INTA Institute, an educational institution that aims to prepare
manpower for excellence and quality in the field of heavy equipment. INTA institute is housed in an area of
​8,000 m2 in Cakung.Di same year, IBFN listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange on December 22, 2014
with stock code IBFN. In this IPO, IBFN remove 21.05% stake to the public with proceeds amounting to
Rp192 billion. Most of these funds will be used for working capital financing.

2015 - INTA formed a new subsidiary, PT Inta Sarana and PT Inta Power Infrastructure Perkasa, which is a
holding and business subholding in independent electricity provider's infrastructure. This is the first step
INTA diversified field of power generation

2016 - INTA through TLB signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with PT Pelabuhan Indonesia II
(Persero) or IPC in the development and operation of the power plant in Bengkulu.

2017 - official INTA into the energy and electricity sector with the acquisition of Steam Power (power plant) which
has been active in Batam through the purchase of 30% shares of PT TJK Power of Rp 337.5 billion, with a
mechanism Rights Issue shares on the Indonesia Stock Exchange

C. OBJECTIVE PRAKERIN

Learning in vocational designed with the competency-based approach, the approach

based on production and labor-based approaches in the world. Learning based on

competence is learning competencies emphasized to equip completely

to learners that includes aspects of attitude ( attitude), knowledge ( knowledge) and

skills ( skills). Production-based learning is learning which emphasized on

the acquisition of learning outcomes in the form of finished goods or services in accordance with the standards of the world of industry

or the business world. While the world of work-based learning in directing learners

can increase their competence through the world of work. Learning in this working world,

learners must conduct learning activities in accordance with the requirements of competence

required by the world of work.

Basically Employment Practices Industry (Prakerin) is a model of implementation

education that combines fully integrated student learning activities in schools

with the mastery of vocational skills through working directly in the field of employment.

The method implemented in order to improve the quality of Vocational High School

(SMK) to achieve the relevance of education to the labor needs.

After conducting this Prakerin expected that students can improve their skills

Her professional to fit the demands of labor, and students can also

have a work ethic that include: the ability to work, motivation, initiative, creative, results

quality work, discipline of time, and craft work.

educational process.

Conclusion

By conducting such prakerin, we will acquire science

helpful and experience to work in the real industrial world. And

different industries with our school will be an actual practice and guided

by tutors who seemed to be a substitute for our teachers at school and therefore we

must always obey the rules that exist in the industry and maintain its good name, we too

keep the good name of our school to the time discipline, neatness, honesty, bersungguh-

indeed, always listen to the instructions given by the supervisor and cling

to ourselves - each not too trusting of others so as to be

in the industrial world is not something new, because who follow the work practices

SUGGESTION
