B737-400 Fuel

1. When both Centre Tank Fuel pump switches are turned OFF, the fuel scavenge shut-off valve
* A) Opens for 20 minutes allowing fuel pressure from the No. 1 tank forward pump to operate the Centre
Tank Scavenge Jet pump, which transfers the remaining centre tank fuel to the No. 1 tank.
B) Opens allowing pressure from the No. 1 tank forward pump to operate the Centre Tank Scavenge Jet
pump, which transfers the remaining centre tank fuel to the No. 2 tank.
C) Closes for 20 minutes allowing fuel pressure from the No. 2 tank forward pump to operate the Centre
Tank Scavenge Jet pump, which transfers the remaining centre tank fuel to the No. 2 tank.

2. A shut-off system is used during refueling to
