Sub:- Guntakal Division: Guntakal – Kalluru section – Proposed doubling of track

between Guntakal – Kalluru station - Venkatampalli station. - Reg.

In connection with the above subject, Presently Venkatampalli yard is 2 lines stations
and from Ch: 541.00 to Ch: 835.00 the existing grade is 1 in 260. For this grade CRS had
already given condonation during Gauge conversion and the same was communicated vide
letter no. W1/09/09-10 dated 25.05.2009.

Doubling of track between Guntakal – Kalluru is now sanctioned and it is proposed to

provide with 2 more lines (one main line + one loop line) apart from the existing two lines. The
proposed two lines are also in the grade of 1 in 260 between ch: 541.00 to Ch:835.00 as
indicated in the approved ESP. For the existing two lines the grade condonation of CRS/SC
was already obtained vide the letter cited under ref. (1). It is now requested for condonation of
grade for the 2 new lines between the same chainages.

Copy of the approved ESP is enclosed herewith and approval of CRS/SC for
Venkatampalli yard is also enclosed herewith.

The infringement statement in Form XVII is filled in and enclosed herewith. You are
requested to sign in the form as a token of approval to process further.
