Subject: Temporary relocating/shifting of loading ramp of Military siding by approximately 40-45 m

towards Chandari station existing in Right of Way of North Central Railways between Chakeri-Chandari
for construction of New Railway Line (3rd Line)

In reference to above cited subject, it was informed that a loading/unloading Ramp of Military
Siding is existing in front of opening/waterway of Bridge No 247 along the proposed alignment of
3rd line Railway track due to which new bridge No 247A cannot be constructed along the alignment
of existing bridge opening till Loading/Unloading Ramp is relocated.
Regarding this, meeting was held with Defense personnel on 06.04.2021 and issue was briefed and
matter has been forwarded to concerned Military official.
In view of this, joint survey has been done by the Railway representatives on 03.06.20219 (Joint
Note attached) to check the feasibility of temporary shifting of loading/unloading Ramp. After
temporary shifting of loading/unloading Ramp by 40 meters, existing CSR will reduce to 665 meters.
As per approved ESP of Chandari Station yard, new military siding track has to be load in parallel
with the existing siding track with new loading/unloading Ramp after which final CSR of military
siding will be 731 meters.
Hence, in view of expediting the work of railway line (3rd Line) between Rooma-Chakeri- Chandari
Railway Station, this shifting is urgently required.
Therefore, kindly accord approval for the same.
