WHISTLING WOODS

On 29th September 2018,

FYMMS students made a day trip to “Whistling
Woods”, Goregoan. A film, communication and
media arts Institute, it is an exciting destination
for aspiring managers.
Circular in shape, and spacious,
the campus takes your breath away with its
amazing view. Students were fortunate to attend
the YouTube panel discussion where Ranveer
Allahbadia from Beer Biceps, Anisha Dixit from
Rickshawali, Paula McGlynn from Bhadipa, Aditi
Shrivastava Co-founder of Pocket Aces, Madhura
Bachal from Madhura’s recipe were there who
guided and motivated students. They spoke about
how to start career in you tube, its pros and cons
and the steps to follow in order to have a
successful career. Indeed, it was great experience
attending this session.
It was also fascinating to explore
the sets of Taarak Mehta ka Ulta Chashma, Yeh
Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Alladin. Students also
spent time in YouTube space where youtubers
come for their shoots, seminars and workshops.
There were various intriguing workshops like
Digital Marketing, Social Media Planning, Career
Development etc.
It was a marvellous experience,
and students made the most of the opportunity to
click photographs that will remain in their
memories for years to come, and remind them of
the memorable moments spent in whistling
woods. A great learning experience, this was
undoubtedly a trip to cherish for a lifetime.
