Alpivar heavy duty capacitors - 440V

Alpivar patented capacitors are totally dry units impregnated (under vacuum) with thermoset
polyurethane resin which forms the casing, providing excellent mechanical and electrical
protection. The patented vacuum potting technique ensures excellent resistance over time,
providing much longer service life than conventional capacitors.

Series 4000 racks are designed for direct mounting into systems accomodating 19” racks. They
utilize special 6 terminal capacitors with contactors connected in the Delta loop of the capacitors.
The compact design comprises the following:

• Alpivar heavy duty “dry” cell capacitors
- 6 terminal with internal discharge resistors
• special capacitor switching contactors
• 3Ph fuse holder with suitably rated fuses
