ADMINISTRATION OF ENGLISH PROFICIENCY TEST TO TEACHER

APPLICANTS (ES, JHS AND SHS) SY 2018-2019

To: OIC-Assistant Schools Division Superintendents

Public Schools District Supervisors
Elementary and Secondary School Heads

1. This is to inform the field that the Administration of English Proficiency Test
(EPT) to Teacher Applicants in Elementary, Junior and Senior High School is on
March 3, 2018 (Saturday), 7:00am at 8ajet Castillo High School, Longos, Pulilan,
Bulacan.

2. The time, room assignment, list of examinees and names of room examiners
are indicated in Enclosure No. 1, while the work committee is found in Enclosure No.2
of this Memorandum. (Note: Deadline of submission of list of teacher applicants is
on February 21, 2018, for elementary level c/o Ms. Shane Sarmiento and for
secondary level c/o Ms. Marilene Ramos).

3. The school head of the testing center including the work committees should
provide separate rooms for the walk-in examinees.

4. The EPT/CPT (English Proficiency Test! Communication Proficiency Test)

takers should bring valid identification card (e.g. PRC ID), pencil mongol No.1 & 2 with
eraser/sharpener, packed snacks/lunch/merienda and must be at the testing center
one hour before their scheduled time of test administration.

5. All concerned are required to strictly follow the schedule. District Supervisors
and Secondary School Heads are requested to inform the applicants in their respective
districts as to their schedule whether morning or afternoon session.

6. Room Examiners are expected to be at the testing center by 6:45am on March

3, 2018 for the Debriefing of Room Examiners which shall be conducted by the Bureau
of Educational Assessment (formerly NETRC) representative, Ms. Maryann Delavin.

7. To ensure quality and efficient administration of the EPT, there will be an

orientation for on the administration of the said test on March 2, 2018, Friday at Sajet
Castillo HS-Conference Room, 1:00-5:00pm. Participants to this orientation are the
DTC, EPT Personnel, Room Examiners/Supervisors and Technical Support/Staff

8. All expenses incidental to the conduct of this orientation/administration of EPT

including foods, handouts, traveling expenses of SEA representative, certificates, and
documentation will be charged against DIVISION MOOE subject to the usual
accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

9. Cooperation of everyone is enjoined to ensure reliable and orderly

administration of the EPT.

10. Immediate and wide dissemination of this Memorandum is desired.
