አዋጅ ቁጥር ፩ሺ፸/፪ሺ፲ PROCLAMATION NO. 1070/2018

የተሻሻለውን የቤተሰብ ሕግ ለማሻሻል የወጣ አዋጅ A PROCLAMATION TO PROVIDE FOR THE

AMENDMENT OF THE REVISED FAMILY CODE

የተሻሻለውን የቤተሰብ ሕግ ከብሔራዊ የህጻናት WHEREAS, it is found necessary to harmonize the

ፖሊሲ ጋር ማጣጣም አስፈላጊ ሆኖ በመገኘቱ፣ Revised Family Code with the National Children’s Policy;

በኢትዮጵያ ፌደራላዊ ዲሞክራሲያዊ ሪፐብሊክ ህገ NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Article

መንግሥት አንቀጽ ፶፭(፩) መሠረት የሚከተለው 55(1) of the Constitution of the Federal Democratic
Republic of Ethiopia, it is hereby proclaimed as follows:
ታውጇል፦
1. Short Title
This Proclamation may be cited as the “Revised Family
፩. አጭር ርዕስ
Code (Amendment) Proclamation No. 1070/2018”.
ይህ አዋጅ “የተሻሻለው የቤተሰብ ሕግ(ማሻሻያ)
አዋጅ ቁጥር ፩ሺ፸/፪ሺ፲” ተብሎ ሊጠቀስ ይችላል። 2. Amendment
The Revised Family Code Proclamation No.
፪. ማሻሻያ
213/2000 is hereby amended as follows:
የተሻሻለው የቤተሰብ ሕግ አዋጅ ቁጥር
1/ Article 193 of the Proclamation is repealed;
፪፻፲፫/፲፱፻፺፪ እንደሚከተለው ተሻሽሏል፦

፩/ የአዋጁ አንቀጽ ፩፻፺፫ ተሽሯል፤
፪/ የአዋጁ አንቀጽ ፩፻፺፬ (፫)(መ) ተሰርዞ ነበሩ
ፊደል ተራ (ሠ) ፊደል ተራ(መ) ሆኖ ተሸጋሽጓል፤
፫/ የአዋጁ አንቀጽ ፩፻፺፬ (፬) ተሰርዟል።
2/ Paragraph (d) of sub-article (3) of Article 194 of
the Proclamation is deleted and the existing
paragraph (e) is rearranged as paragraph (d);
3/Sub-article (4) of Article 194 of the Proclamation
is deleted.

3. Effective Date
፫. አዋጁ የሚጸናበት ጊዜ 1/ Notwithstanding Article(2) of this Proclamation,
፩/ የዚህ አዋጅ አንቀጽ ፪ ድንጋጌ ቢኖርም ይህ
