Water Treatment Technology

Introduction

To solve problems of water to harmonize human society with natural environment, the
scientific understanding of the nature of water and development of water treatment
technologies may play an important role. The research and development in this field require
not only the basic knowledge of chemistry, physics, microbiology, metallurgy, etc., but also
broad knowledge of applied science, such as chemical engineering, mechanical engineering,
electrical engineering and electronics. The water treatment methods are generally divided into
chemical, mechanical and microbiological ones. This course is designed to empower
participants with an overview on different techniques used in water treatment, developing the
management and mitigation plans.

Objectives

This course is designed to empower participants with an overview on the different water
treatment methods, for water plants either by produced water or seawater and also provides
latest technology of this filed. By the end of the training course, participants will be able to
select the appropriate technology for their water treatment plants and protect their industry
and also surrounding environment.

Who should attend?

This course is intended for environmental and HSE professionals and engineers, oily water
Treatment staff, design engineers and sewage operators, municipal planners and engineers,
Plant and maintenance engineers, mechanical engineers, technicians and staff. Further, this
Course is suitable for process engineers, operation, maintenance, inspection and production
Managers, supervisors, foremen and anyone responsible for managing and operating waste
Water treatment facilities.
