This letter is in support of Miss Cooper Reed’s application for employment.

Cooper has been a student teacher in my grade 2 classroom this past year.
She has been very involved in my classroom, teaching full-time for the majority
of her time.

Cooper has a great sense of fun and humor that creates a classroom
environment where learning is exciting and challenging. Her patient, respectful
demeanor and deep concern for each and every student has enabled her to
reach and help children in ways not often seen in such a young teacher. She
lives her belief of respecting the dignity and worth of the whole family as she
encourages parents to be active in their child’s learning.

Cooper is confident in her abilities, celebrating both the challenges and

potentials of teaching. She continually reflects on her teaching practices and is
always asking questions of herself and others. She has embraced
differentiated inquiry-based teaching and is a proficient professional.

Cooper has much to offer as a teacher. I am confident that with her many
skills, talents and initiatives, she will be an asset to any staff. I know that she
will make significant contributions to any setting that is fortunate to receive her
and I would embrace the opportunity to work with her in the future.
