YES! Magazine.

This article attempts to explain the rise of Asian Americans in the U.S. Asian Americans,

however, tend to experience discrimination, hate crimes and racial violence, and racial bullying

in educational institutes. My focus of this article is on analyzing the problems I can use in my

paper regarding Asian American students.

This article analyzes Asian-American higher education student Leadership. Despite the

fact that Jennifer has brought up the issue of racism against bigotry activism at Asian American

students. I would like to use this journal to explain how the students of Asia in America battled

with the racial unfairness and the adverse effects of being racialized as Asian-American leaders

in my research essay.

In this post, Embra talks about the discrepancies in how black and white people are

treated in the culture today. The series talks about how white people tend to act stupidly because

they didn't know what they were doing was discriminatory or even stuff they were doing. Embra

(2016), also goes on thinking about how some media outlets and other white people say racism

doesn't exist, although it obviously does. However, my focus from the article is to show how

white men continue to justify racism, or how white Americans disregard it when it comes to

education of Asians in the U.S.

Exploring discrimination against Asian-Americans with few scholars has been addressed

in this article and my focus is on seeking work on lower personality ratings for Asian-Americans

and painful perceptions that will help address the effect of racism in my research work among

Asian-American students.

This article is about the views of an Asian American student living in New York City,

'Alex Chen'. He explored the experiences of injustices affecting Asian Americans that

contributed to complicated situations. The information from this article that will be of use to me

in my paper is the racial injustices that Asian American students suffer in the U.S.

Liu, C. M., & Suyemoto, K. L. (2016). “The effects of racism-related stress on Asian Americans:

Anxiety and depression among different generational statuses”. Asian American Journal

Of Psychology, 7(2), 137-146. doi:10.1037/aap0000046

Liu & Suyemoto brings an Asian perspective on racism and focuses on its effects in

various classes. Their research shows that racial prejudice is related to undesirable (negative)

psychological health consequences among Asian Americans, with discoveries identified with

generational status. My focus is to find the relationship between racism-related stress (RRS) and

depression from this journal to support my research.

Museus, S. D., & Park, J. J. (2015). The Continuing Significance of Racism in the Lives of Asian

American College Students. Journal of College Student Development, 56(6), 551–569.

In this paper, the authors sought to understand the range of ways that Asian American

undergraduates (students) face racism in American colleges constantly. They analyzed data from

face-to-face interviews with Asian American learners and in my research paper, I will use the

data provided in this journal to clarify various racism issues.

This article seeks to address one of the greatest threats 'coronavirus outbreak' in

American educational institutes. Since this danger emerged in China, the prejudice and animosity

towards Chinese, Chinese American and other students from Asia have been addressed and I

would like to explore that particular knowledge in my research.

Stereotype” The Model Minority Stereotypes Impact on Asian American Engineering

The Model Minority Stereotype (MMS) portrays Asians and Asian Americans as the

personification of assimilation into US culture through hard work as well as economic triumph,

to conquer the disputes (challenges) of prejudice and immigration. This article discusses how

engineering students of Asia in America view racial fit inside the MMS. My aim of this journal's

research is to seek data that has influenced Asian American engineering students because of

racial discrimination.

Wang, J., Siy, J. O., & Cheryan, S. (2011). Racial Discrimination and Mental Health Among

Asian American Youth. Asian American and pacific islander children and mental health.

This chapter seeks to explore how mental health results correlate perceptions of racial

discrimination among a young, diverse Asian American community. From this study, I will try to

investigate types of injustice (racism) among Asian-American youth as well as teenage adults

and study how mental health can be negatively influenced by racial discrimination in support of

my research essay.

This paper, with the support of Dr. Aprile D. Benner, discussed the adverse impact on

minority adolescent growth due to racial and ethnic discrimination, but I'll focus only on Asian

Americans. From this article, I'll be able to search the mental issues that racism has impacted on

Asian Americans affiliated with U.S. educational institutes.

Han Ju Seo, a Korean American student at Washington University in St. Louis, discussed

in this article the concerns she and other students of Asia faced regularly about anti-Asian

racism. This is a very important topic for my research essay, as it addresses numerous injustices

through various platforms that Asian students faced in America as demonstrated in this article.

This video, shot by Max Toomey and edited by Joshua Lim, shows Chinese students at

New York City's Columbia University who were affected (targeted) by racially prejudiced

despoilers (vandals) who pulled the informal IDs bearing their Chinese names off residence

entryways. It illustrates how racism in school cultures affects Asian students and will be valuable

for my research work.
