Lesson objectives:

By the end of the lesson the students will be able to:


1. place adjectives in the right order
2. form the plural of nouns
3. describe the objects in their room

Warm- up

Objective: to prepare ss for the lesson
Procedure: Enter the class. Greet the students and check attendance.

Lead in
Time: 2 min

Objective: to arouse the students’ interest in the lesson
Procedure: Show students your mobile phone and say the following sentence: “Describe my mobile
phone in three words” (old, black, small). Write the following sentence on the board: I have a small,
old and black mobile phone.

Presentation:
Time: 5 min

Objective: to become familiar with the order of adjectives
Procedure: Write the following word on the board (OSASCOMP) and draw a building and a bone). Tell
students that this building makes bones, and this is the acronym which helps them to remember the
order of adjectives. Write the words and ask students to give you examples from each category.

Practice:
Time: 10 min

Objective: to place adjectives in the right order
Procedure: Ask students to complete a task on a worksheet. They place adjectives in order. At the end
ask 1-2 students to give you the answers.

Production:
Time: 10 min

Objective: to describe the objects in their room
Procedure: Ask students to write 6 sentences in which they describe 6 objects in their room. Ask a
student to read.
Review:
Time: 10 min

Objective: to form the plural of nouns
Procedure: Write the following poem and song on the board. A fox in a bus saw a bush of buzzes over
a bridge with a torch what a mirage. And Once a judge had a house in a place and a vase in it. Ask
students to give you the plural forms for the nouns in them and underline the final letter of those
nouns. Also, write the list of irregular plurals on the board.
