 BFP CHECKLIST
Activities Remarks
Ensure Space heater supply is ON atleat 04 hours before starting of BFP
Ensure no LC is pending on BFP & its Auxullaries.
Ensure Deaerator level normal (1400mm).
Ensure Hotwell level normal (830mm).
Ensure ACW pump is in service.
All inlet & outlet valves in ACW line at BFP should be in open condition.
ACW I/L & O/L valves to thrust bearing , journal bearing ,stuffing box & seal water cooler
should be in open condition.
Ensure DE & NDE side bearing oil level is in normal condition.
Ensure UCFT level normal ( 1650-1900mm)
Close drain valve in suction line
Open BFP suction valve
Close casing drain valve
Ensure discharge valve in closed condition.
Discharge common header drain should be close
Ensure that 02 nos hand operated valves in balancing line is in open condition.
Ensure that one no of hand operated valves in recirculation line is in open condition
All hand operated isolation valves in the impulse line should be open condition.
Open Deareator vent
ThewWarm up line all valves should be in closed condition.
Ensue the local push button is released condition.
Ensure Boiler Feed control station valves in closed condition.
