MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES :
Responsible for handle total 23 Hotels and Resorts successfully from Corporate Office where
1600 employees are working in the country. Additionally Communicating & implementing the
vision, mission & the core values at all levels. Creating an open and employee friendly
atmosphere. Undertaking various initiatives for the employee engagement and employee
wellness. Manages HR Department, ensuring compliance with all Corporate area and hotel
policies and procedures; and current local govt. regulations pertaining to employment
practices.
. STRATEGIC HRM
Talent Acquisition (including Campus Recruitment conducted in various Hotel Management
Colleges) Recruited Candidates for Hotel Operations up to Managerial Cadre, Employee
Retention Program, maintain & updates files on employee records, legal documents and other
personnel matters efficiently and confidentiality etc.

EMPLOYEE RECRUITMENT & PLACEMENT

. Overall co-ordination of manpower planning, recruitment, induction across Hotel Units.


• Developing/ implementing new recruitment/selection policies as per staffing requirements
at Hotel Units across country.
• Improve upon the recruitment process for higher efficiency and effectiveness.
• Handling salary negotiations and compensation administration in line with the industry
standards.
• HR Policy formulation and Communication Strategy.
• Planning and enacting improvements to align culture and processes with the Organization's
strategy, vision, mission and objectives.
• Developing and implementing improved methods on communication, knowledge / success
sharing and teambuilding strategies to inform, educate and motivate employees across
Units.
• Facilitate change management processes to carry out initiatives to improve business results.
• Instrumental in Modifying & implementing various compensations plans, reward &
recognition schemes, HR policies and communicating them across the organization at all
levels.
• Counseling/ grievance handling of the employees to maintain a healthy work environment
at Unit level and community development activities. Benchmark key HR business
deliverables.
• Monitoring the effective utilization of Manpower, retention of manpower & knowledge
management.

.PERFORMANCE APPRAISAL
• Formulating and implementing increment, incentive and other remuneration policies.
• Aligning KRA's of Employees in line with Balanced Scorecard initiatives & reviewing the
same with Functional Heads.
• Managing Appraisal process across the level on the basis of 180 degree & 360 degree
appraisal.

. EMPLOYEE RELATION & RETENTION


• Employee Relations and retention - Maintaining cordial relations at all levels with all
associates. Implementing various retention strategies in line with the company policy to
control attrition at all levels. Providing feedback to management with regards to employee
turnover through exit interview and employee feedback mechanism.

EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT & GRIEVANCE HANDLING


• Ensure employees are committed to Organization’s goals and values, motivated to
contribute to Organizational success, and are able at the same time to enhance their own
sense of well-being.

• Handling the grievances of employees & help them to develop esprit de corps and reach out to
achieve and sustain progressively higher levels of performance.

ATTENDANCE & LEAVES


• Making the yearly Holidays and Leaves for the employees. Track all employees leave status
according the leave policy.
• Keeping the attendance record for all Unit employees every day for Make their salary.

HR POLICY
• Make and maintain the HR policy for the organization is a part of my responsibility. Through
this policy all employees are maintaining their discipline and day to day work culture inside the
organization.
STATUTORY COMPLIENCES
• Adhering to compliance under various enactments like P.F., E.S.I., Bonus, Gratuity etc.

• Preparing and settling of employees payroll, pay slips and salary bank transfer statements,
annual leave payments, allowances, overtime payment etc.

• Maintains control of pension plans and safeguards both company and staff interests.

INDUSTRIAL RELATION

• Directly handle labour problems, strategies and negotiations with unions and contractors, and
ensure a peaceful industrial relations climate.

• Ensure the smooth running of operations in a cost effective manner despite constraints of laws
and other statutory regulations.

• Maintain contacts and deal effectively with Govt. authorities/ local dignities as required.

• Deal directly with contractors ensuring implementation of the settlement and resolve problems
arising out of it and avoid any disruption of work.

• Deal with various statutory bodies for compliances of all vendors.

• Handle disciplinary matters and the course of action to be taken and frame memos, warning
letters, Show cause letter, charge sheets , domestic enquiry, court cases etc. Beside of it, also
organize and implementing disciplinary action from the company end.
