How child learn about

TOPIC :
crime ?

SUBMITTED TO : GHINASHA CH .
What is behaviorism / behavior theory :
Behaviorism, also known as behavioral psychology, is a theory of learning
based on the idea that all behaviors are acquired through conditioning.
Conditioning occurs through interaction with the environment. Behaviorists
believe that our responses to environmental stimuli shape our actions .

Strict behaviorists believed that any person can potentially be trained to

perform any task, regardless of genetic background, personality traits, and
internal thoughts (within the limits of their physical capabilities). It only
requires the right conditioning. so in this we will see that how a child learn
about crime in respect of the behavior theory that means a child develop a
particular behavior through specific enviourment / surroundings . and all
the factors / events that are happening in the surrounding of the people
changes its behavior . Either this behavior is may be positive or may be
negative .The way a teacher reacts to the action of the child determines
that whether a child do that action again or not i.e a student feed of
negative reaction of the teacher will tend to do that thing again because of
the negative reaction of the teacher . It can further explained by that we
send our child to a better school so that they can now the etiquate and the
basic manner to live in a society . If this school provide better and good
education to child the child would be a better person in the future and
similarly his mind will be full of positivity and he will be a positive person in
future and on the other hand if we send our child to a school which a full of
bad people and doesn’t provide him him a better enviourment in future the
mind of the person will be of negative things and in future he will become a
negative minded person and end up as a criminal or a teif . so its tells us
that the surrounding of a person have a impact on a person if the person is
grown up in a non-conventional environment his behavior will be criminal
behavior .

Examples:

A CHILD WHO SEES MORE VIOLENCE AND GUNS

ON TV / MEDIA :
The children in our society first encounter or some in contact with media in
the form of Tv . He sees shows , cartoons , news , AD,S and play games that
contain guns or violence . those lines and actions that are4 coming from
the character fascinates him . When he sees guns and violence its shows
him that by guns and violence he become superior or can control every
thing . our tv shows also contain content that are seductive and more
powerful so basically by seeing all of these things the mind of the child
automatically converted to that things and the child is more desentisized to
violence it becomes its normal routine and rather a mechanism to make
people conform manifest dominance . as a result a person develops
aggression and employs its as a mechanism of conformation and to potray
its dominance . so what that child say in the games he will try to imply it in
the real world and as a result become a criminal minded oerson and end
upas a criminal

Explanation through behaviorism theory :

As we know that a child develop a behavior with a learing experience and
these learing experienes are found in our surrounding either in media ,
enviourment , family , peers , etc these are some of the basic or primary
things thigh which a child develop his behavior . as mention in the above
example it is seen that a very small age the child is attracted to the violence
and the guns and TV that shows him the violence and guns . so at this age
he experienced that the guns are cool and by these guns he can control
everything and become superior, and through his childhood experience he
claimed that by using guns he can do whatever he wants to so as a result a
young age he will become a killer or a criminal that uses weapon in order
for the dominance and for gaining everything he wanted .and as a result
he end up as a criminal .

A child whose father beats his mother :

so as in this there was a child of age 8 years . His father beats his mother on
extremely little things . There was no such issue which could be legitimate
enough that the savagery of his dad could get supported. The kid saw this
viciousness by her dad from time to time. He beat her wife because of not
following his order and after some time he said that his wife have some
affair with his friend . As this child is soo small to understand these types of
things . He got dreadful of his dad and didn't counter endless supply of his
activities against his mom. And after some time he began to accepting his
dad position and started questioning his mother character . and saw his
mother and father fighting here and there over small matters and as a
result that child who is subjected of that type of enviorment in which his
father beating his mother over little matters , becomes a killer and accrding
to him all the femals are like this and way to keep them in control is to beat
them or to kill them and as a result he got rough and reprobate of social
standards.

Explanation according to behavior theory :

As we know that what a behavior theory says that a child learn through its
enviorment . In this example it is clearly seen that a child who Is only at the
age 8 experience violence that is happeing between his father and mother
changed his mind and behavior . All the thing he got is disbelief and lies .
So the thoughts that come in his mind would be that all the woman sare
like that and on ther other hand as this behavior goes with him he will start
to beat his wife . Because all the experience that he got in his life is abpou
violence

A child having no parents bring up by his feudal

uncle :
IN this , there was a kid who has no parents was living with his uncle. His
uncle was a medieval ruler of a town. The youngster was exceptionally
intrigued by the mien of his uncle as that kid have no parents so theres no
oe to explain him that he was following the wrong person . His uncle was a
rich man and clearly his way of life was appealing. The little youngster saw
these things that his primitive uncle has a major methodology. Every one of
his requests are satisfied on only one call, and there no one who can stop
him for what he is doing Furthermore, if not he made the obstacles to be
slaughtered in one manner or the other. His uncle impacts police office
also. Consequently there was nobody to prevent him from unlawful
practices. The youngster was roused with the character of his uncle and all
he needed was to become like him one day. So he become the correct
hand of his uncle in a little age. He saw rehearses like killing poor people,
abducting their little girls to satisfy the desire of medieval. He encountered
these things. He discovered that to carry on a way of life like his uncle these
things are must to do. Thus when he was grown up he became like his
uncle and much more dreadful.
EXPLANATION ACCORDING TO BEHAVIOUR THEORY :
At this point when the youngster began living with his uncle and made him
his optimal. He turned into a follower of him. He watched every single
movement of his uncle and appreciated him as the kid has no parents so
there no one to explain him that he is doing wrong and following the
wrong person in life , as a result of this he encountered such criminal
episodes that happened as a result of his uncle. It strongly affected his
brain since he was quick to become like his uncle. These encounters and
motivation lead him to build up a tormenting conduct as his uncle has. At
the point when he was an adult man, he turned into a tormentor, a torturer.
He began tormenting the townspeople and assaulting their virgin girls. He
indicated a conduct of an egotistical avaricious man with regards to
recouping cash. Henceforth conduct hypothesis says that the encounters
that he picked up from the exercises of his uncle, the youngster built up a
criminal conduct that primitive convey along themselves.

conclusion: As we have seen through the above examples that a child

behavior depend upon his enviorment . if the enviorment in which he is
growing is good he will be of positive mind and if the enviourment is bad
then the behavior of the child will automatically will be negative . A child if
expose to violence in early ages he will do violence in the future .
