Reflect on this question:

As a future teacher, how can I help the government in its effort to

ensure the fundamental equality before the law of women and men?

Gender issues prevail in society in all areas of life. Teachers play a

very important part in shaping the ideas and beliefs of a student. To
minimize this gender issues, teacher must start to change the
mindsets of the younger generation as they are those who can bring
about further change in society in the future. As a future teacher, I
must teach the students regarding of the equality of men and
women. And also teach them to respect the ideas, culture and
beliefs of everyone. I should also explain the importance of having a
harmonious and peaceful relation between men and women and
how can they help each other in the future. I must be aware of the
terms or words that I’ll use for them to feel comfortable. And I should
ask both parties to avoid favoritism.

As a future teacher, I’ll be a critical thinker, problem solver, good

communicator, excellent collaborator, information and technology
literate, flexible and adjustable, innovative and creative, globally
competent and financial literate. I believe that if I possess a
character like that I can be an effective teacher. I can give a good
quality of a teacher. I could mold and shape the student in an
effective way. I can also give them a good quality of education.

What Insights and Learning have I gained in this topic?

In this topic I learned that the teacher needs to become familiar with
the different types of learning. Those types of learning will help the
teacher to become more effective in teaching. It gives ideas of what
instructional strategies might use in teaching. And also through this
topic, I now know the importance of knowing how to use different
types of learning and instructional strategies in an effective way.

My personal learning in the topic:

It is important that the teacher have knowledge in technology.

Teachers have to realize that ICT has started to create a 21st century
digital world, and they are obliged to teach the new generation of
learners to be successful in this kind of world. Teacher must
themselves discover the digital world. Teachers must recognize the
new literacy in digital education. Teachers can also use different
fluencies like information, solution, collaboration, media and creative
fluency. These fluencies can be their guide in proper using of digital.
