Mid--Year Academic Reflection

Seniors
You have finished your senior fall semester and are only a few months away from graduation!
Having had nearly four years of high school, take some time to reflect on your experience.

Thinking about your efforts and experiences in core classes since you were a freshman,​ ​what are
some of the ways you’ve evolved as a student? What has been your biggest challenge(s) in your
core classes? What are some of the most rewarding experiences you’ve had academically?
Consider examples that you may remember long after high school.

Freshman year took some getting used to because of how different middle school is from high
school. It took some getting used to but it was easy to adapt. I learned how to manage time
better, use communication and have a strong work ethic. These soft skills made all four years of
high school easier. The most challenging thing about my core classes was using time efficiently.
I am a procrastinator so it only made the work harder. The most rewarding thing is when I used
my time efficiently and got work done on time and did not feel all the pressure of doing
everything at the last minute.

Looking ahead, what do you need to do during your last semester to accomplish your goals?

I need to just keep working hard and not slack off because there is only a short amount of time
left
