I. Phase 1: Plan
Summer 2020
A. Present Proposal Letter to Administration
B. Develop a Scope & Sequence for upcoming year
C. Plan Project-Based Blended Learning Activities based on Scope & Sequence and TEKs
D. Develop classroom Expectations and Procedures
E. Develop Project-Based Blended Learning grading procedures

II. Phase 2: Implement “Pilot Program”


August - October 2020
A. Touch Base with Administration to Discuss Further Clarification or Any Concerns
B. Gather Student Data from previous academic year
C. Develop Formative and Summative assessments to measure student learning
D. Introduce Project-Based Blended Learning to students
E. Present the first Project-Based Blended Learning scenario to students
F. Review Students Research from first Project-Based Blended Learning scenario
G. Have Student create a Final Product and Presentation that synthesize their research
H. Asses the Students’ Research and Product/Presentations

November - December 2020


A. Collect Data from the “Pilot Program”
B. Mark any Inconsistencies or Issues
C. Have Students Complete a Reflection on their Experience with PBBL

III. Phase 3: Review & Polish


January 2021 - May 2021
A. Review Student Data
B. Make Changes to upcoming PBBL Scenarios if Needed
C. Present the Second Project-Based Blended Learning Scenario to Students
D. Review Students Research from first Project-Based Blended Learning scenario
E. Have Student create a Final Product and Presentation that synthesize their research
F. Asses the Students’ Research and Product/Presentations
G. Have Students Complete a Final Reflection on their Overall Experience with PBBL
IV. Phase 4: Introduce My Vision to My Colleagues
May - July 2021
A. Conduct a meeting with Administration and the English Department Introducing my Vision
B. Discuss how Project-Based Blended Learning was incorporated
C. Present a Presentation that Explores Student Data and Feedback from the 20-21 School Year
D. Compare Data from 19-20 (without PBBL) school year and 20-21 (with PBBL) School Year
E. Discuss the Implementation Plan for 21-22 School Year

August 2021
A. Meet with the English Department to discuss any further clarifications or concerns
B. As a team, Develop Classroom Norms, Expectations and Procedures

September 2021 - December 2021


(English Department will meet Weekly)
A. Introduce Project-Based Blended Learning to students
B. Present the first Project-Based Blended Learning scenario to students
C. Review Students Research from first Project-Based Blended Learning scenario
D. Have Student create a Final Product and Presentation that synthesize their
research
E. Asses the Students’ Research and Product/Presentations
F. Have Students Complete a Reflection on their Experience with PBBL
G. Have a meeting with the English Department to Discuss Students’ Data and
Feedback

V. Phase 5: Reflect & Review with English Department and Administration


January 2022
A. Review Student Data
B. Have each English Teacher Present their Findings & Student Data
C. Discuss Positive Feedback from Colleagues and Administration
D. Discuss Concerns from Colleagues and Administration
E. Make Changes to upcoming PBBL Scenarios if Needed

VI. Phase 6: Polish and Continue PBBL


February 2022 - May 2022
A. Present the Second Project-Based Blended Learning Scenario to Students
B. Review Students Research from first Project-Based Blended Learning scenario
C. Have Student create a Final Product and Presentation that synthesize their research
D. Asses the Students’ Research and Product/Presentations
E. Have Students Complete a Final Reflection on their Overall Experience with PBBL
F. Have a meeting with the English Department to Discuss Students’ Data and Feedback
G. Review Student Data
VII. Phase 7: Prepare for Upcoming School Year
Summer 2022
A. Have End of the Year Meeting with Admin & Colleagues to Discuss Positives & Negatives
B. Identify other Content Area Teachers who are interested on PBBL
C. Develop a 2022-2023 School Year Plan for Project-Based Blended Learning
