ADVISORY on Enrolment for School Year 2020-2021

1. In view of the anticipated delayed opening of School Year 2020-2021, and of the
current situation where we cannot conduct the usual enrolment schedule at this
month of May, contingency plans for enrolment and other enrolment-related
concerns are hereby presented:

a. Enrolment mode can be done online or offline. Both ways are done via google
sheets that are going to be published in the group chats of teachers or in our
DepEd Pines website. Offline enrolment can be done thru text messages.

b. For Grade 7, the google sheet will be shared to the elementary school heads
who will be assisted by the Grade six advisers in communicating with their
pupils. Those who intend to enroll in the special programs (SPS, SPA and SPJ),
but their inclusion in the program will depend on the result of the screening that
includes skills assessment and written examination, to be conducted on a
schedule that will be announced later. In case they do not pass the screening,
the student may opt to enrol in the regular program. Confirmation of enrolment
shall be done thru the google sheet or thru text message to this number:

c. For Grade 8 enrolment, a forwarding system shall be applied. The Grade 7

advisers are advised to encode the names of their Grade 7 in the google sheet
and forward to the Grade 8 advisers who will take charge of communicating
with the students who are assumed to be pre-enrolled as Grade 8. Students
shall in turn confirm their enrolment thru the google sheet or thru text
messaging to the Grade 7 advisers.

d. As for Grade 9 and Grade 10, a pre-enrolment has been conducted last
February, through the committee headed by Ms. Claire Herman, where the TLE
specializations were considered. Consultation with parents/guardians were also
done that time. Confirmation of enrolment will also be done thru the google
sheet or text messaging to the Grades 9 and 10 advisers. This pre-enrolment
shall be carried but minimal changes may be allowed when necessary.
 e. For Grade 11 enrolment, a link shall be forwarded to the Grade 10 advisers who
shall send it to their students. Only those intending to enroll in our school in the
senior high school program shall reply to the link provided. A separate advisory
with more details on senior high enrolment shall be released soon. For those
who cannot access the link, they can send data needed for enrolment thru text
messaging.

f. Grade 11 students are considered pre-enrolled as incoming Grade 12.

Confirmation of enrolment shall be done by Grade 11 advisers thru text
messaging or social media.

g. Conditionally-promoted students (students with 1 or 2 failures who are currently

taking remediation classes with their subject teachers) may enrol after earning a
passing Recomputed Final Grade and their promotion has been confirmed in
the LIS, together with the drop-outs, retained students and transferees.
Schedule of their enrolment shall be announced later.

h. Enrolment in the annexes shall be managed by the respective school heads, in

coordination with the office of the principal of the main campus.

2. Final names of enrolled students shall be posted before the beginning of the school
year.

3. Updates on status of enrolment shall be reported to the office of the principal by

Head Teacher coordinators in coordination with the class advisers.

4. Widest dissemination of this advisory to our parents/guardians and other

stakeholders is highly encouraged.
