MINUTES OF THE VIRTUAL PARENTS-TEACHER ASSOCIATION (PTA) MEETING HELD ON


MARCH 8, 2022 AT 8:00PM VIA THE GOOGLE MEET PLATFORM

The meeting was presided by the class adviser, Ms. Alyssa Dorongon. Majority of the
parents of Grade 1 – FL/GT were present so the activity pushed through.
The discussion focused on the salient points of DepEd Memorandum No. 85, s. 2021.
Specifically, the following were taken up:
1. Timeline
a. February 7 – Academic Quarter 3 begins; expansion of the
implementation of limited face-to-face learning modality also starts
b. February 12 – Distribution of report cards for Quarter 3
c. April 8 – end of Academic Quarter 3
d. June 11 – end of face-to-face classes
e. June 20-22 – Academic Quarter 4 Assessment
f. June 27 – July 2 – end of SY 2021-2022 Rites

2. Parents’ Consent
 parents shall submit to the class adviser their signed Parents’ Consent
form

3. Number of Learners
 for Grade I, the maximum number of learners in a class is 15-17

4. Entry and Exit Points


 Grades I and FL – will utilize the Front Gate
 Parents / Guardians will not be allowed to enter the school

5. Pupil’s Vaccine
 School takes note of the learners’ vaccination record
 Having been vaccinated is preferred but not required for the learners to
be allowed to join the face-to-face classes

6. Class Arrangement
 The class will be divided into two (2).
 While Class A attends the half-day face-to-face classes for the whole
week, Class B shall take distance learning. Then take turns in the
succeeding weeks.
 No more online classes
7. Class Schedule
 A class schedule already set by the class adviser and subject teachers will
be implemented. The same shall be posted in the Google Classroom for
everyone’s guidance.

8. Things to Prepare
 Alcohol and Personal Hygiene Kit (includes: underwear, extra clothes,
towelette / wet wipes, extra plastic for the kid’s trash)

9. Classroom Needs:

 Handwashing facility
 Thermal Scanner
 Water dispenser
Initial discussion on the above-listed classroom needs was done. It was agreed
however that the PTA officers shall meet separately to further discuss and finalize the
classroom needs which the parents shall sponsor.
Further, Ms. Dorongon answered every query that the parents raised. The queries
include: wearing of uniform, time of drop off and pick up, how would the learners know
their respective classrooms, and school things to prepare ahead of the face-to-face classes.
Meeting ended at 9:30PM.
