Background Information
A. Rationale of the Program/Activity
1. Relative to the opening of classes on August 29, 2022 as stated in the DepEd
Order No. 022, s. 2023, also known as the “Implementing Guidelines on the School Calendar
and Activities for School Year 2023 -2024”, this office announces the schedule of Parents’
Orientation by grade level on August 22, 2022 at ERES covered court with the following
schedule:
GRADE LEVEL TIME
Grades I , II and III 8:00 AM– 10:00 AM
Grades IV, V and VI 10:00 AM – 12:00 NO0N

B. Objectives of the Activity


a. Prepare session guide and slide decks.
Run the session using video presentations. Facilitate the activity scheme.
Answer queries relative to the topics discussed.
C. Expected Outcome and Results
 Awareness on the implemented guidelines on the School Calendar and
Activities for School Year 2023-2024.
 Gained information that needs to be conducted on the School Year 2023-2024

Highlights of the Activity

A. Preliminary Activities
A.M Session
The session started by the singing of the National Anthem followed by an invocation via AVP.
Checking of attendance was conducted by the Grade Leaders from Grades 1 to 3 started by Mrs.
Amelia Pajarillo, Grade Leader of Grade 1, followed by Mrs. Cherry Leelin, Grade Leader of Grade 2
and then with Mrs. Julie Ann Valerio, Grade Leader of Grade 3. Welcome remarks were given by
Mrs. Andrea P. Angeles, Master Teacher II OIC. Mrs. Andrea said that we’re aiming for quality
performance. Teachers must be committed and dedicated to the teaching profession, must
continue with their professional development, have an amicable relationship with the
parents/guardians. The Orientation is properly discussed by the Masters Teachers in-Charge of
Grades 1 to 3. Closing Remarks was given by our OIC, Mr. Jericho S. Rivera.

P.M Session
The afternoon session started by the singing of the National Anthem followed by an invocation via
AVP. Checking of attendance was conducted by the Grade Leaders from Grades 4 to 6 started by
Mrs. Hazel Pascual, Grade Leader of Grade 4, followed by Mrs. Ma Warrean Agliam, Grade Leader
of Grade 5 and then with Mr. Reynan Ycay, Grade Leader of Grade 6. Welcome remarks were given
by Mrs. Andrea P. Angeles, Master Teacher II OIC. Mrs. Andrea said that we’re aiming for quality
performance. Teachers must be committed and dedicated to the teaching profession, must
continue with their professional development, have an amicable relationship with the
parents/guardians. The Orientation is properly discussed by the Masters Teachers in-Charge of
Grades 4 to 6. Closing Remarks was given by our OIC, Mrs. Jericho S. Rivera.

Facilitator: Master Teachers in-Charge (Grade 1-3)/AM Session


Master Teachers in-Charge (Grade 4-6)/PM Session

The facilitator on this topic discussed the different Guidelines on the School Calendar
and Activities for School Year 2023 -2024”. They also emphasize the readiness of the
School Facilities like Classrooms, Canteen, Principals Office and of course, the
introduction of the Grade Leaders with the Grade level Teachers and Sections. They
even answer queries from the stakeholders.

D. Synthesis and Closing
The session ended by giving the takeaways of each participant about the topics
discussed by the facilitators .To sum up, it can be said that the whole activity (AM and PM
Sessions held on August 22, 2023 was successfully carried out by the Facilitators through
the cooperation and participation of the Primary Level Teachers (Grade 1-Grade 3) and
Intermediate Teachers (Grade 4-Grade 6) , our prominent Master Teachers who devote their
time to serve as facilitators ,and most especially to our principal, Ma’am Cleta F. Saladero
for the abundant suggestions for our School improvement.
