III. BACKGROUND RATIONALE:

According to DepEd Memorandum CI-2020-00155 issues Guidelines as basis for the


Implementation of the Homeroom Guidance during Crisis Situation for School Year 2020-2021.

Guidance was designed to support teachers, counselors and others who might have contact
with children and youth isolated at home during crises such as the COVID-19 pandemic.  Teachers
and counselors, always a critically important part of our safety net, are more important than ever
as they carry on with distance learning. This tool is designed to help them understand and utilize
their new role and what they can do to help children so they can engage more in learning and be
safer.

It is therefore the objective of this Webinar is to enhance the capability of teachers to cope up
with the demand of time embracing continuing education in the new normal.

IV. TRAINING OBJECTIVES:

A. TERMINAL OBJECTIVE
At the end of this webinar the participants will be able to implement efficiently
The Homeroom Guidance in their respective school.
B. ENABLING OBJECTIVES

a. Discuss the important provisions of Homeroom Guidance


implementation policy in teaching during crisis situation.
b.Determine the proper procedure in implementing the HG, and

c. Appreciate the important role of HG in the life skills development of learners.
