A. Introduction
1. Review Directions: Students will pass the paper cabbage while the music is playing, once it stops the student will peel 1 leaf of the paper
cabbage and answer the question being asked.
1. What are the three dimension of colors?
2. It has the most aesthetic appeal of all the elements of visual arts.
2. Motivation The teacher will show a picture of a painting and asked the following questions:
1. What have you seen in the picture?
2. How will you describe the painting in the picture?
3. How important are the color combinations if you are going to create a painting?

Mechanics:
1. The class will be divided into 5 groups.
2. Each group is given a picture and a short information about the type of contrasted color harmony assigned to them.
3. 5 minutes is given to brainstorm and answer the guide question.

1. COMPLEMENTARY HARMONY
- A color scheme that uses 1 color plus its opposite on the color wheel.
- Its complement should be directly opposite.
- Examples are red and green, violet and yellow and orange and blue.
2. DOUBLE COMPLEMENTARY HARMONY
- A color scheme that uses 4 hues, including two adjacent hues and their respective complements
- Example yellow, yellow-orange, violet and blue-violet.
3. SPLIT COMPLEMENTARY HARMONY
- A color scheme that uses 3 hues which include a base hue and two hues on either side of its compliment
- Example yellow, blue-violet and red-violet
4.TRIAD
- A color scheme that uses 3 hues which are each 1/3 around the color wheel.
- example violet, green and orange
5. TETRAD
- a color scheme that uses 2 base hues which are 1 color apart and include their compliments.
- Example red, green, yellow and violet.
