 Manpower Planning, Manpower Budget and Recruitment procedures.
 Liaison with various Govt. Authorities, Local Authorities and Authorities
under Labor legislations & as per Mines Act & Rules
 Liaison with the HR Department of Balasore Alloys for Smooth Functioning
of Mines Operation.
 Responsible for implementing and maintaining company’s EH&S standards at
Kaliapani Chromite Mines.
 Co ordination of Performance Appraisal System.
 Co ordination of various HR activities and MIS Preparation in the company.
 Conducting & Coordinating -Training programs - In-House & External, and
maintaining training records for Mining Staffs.
 Coordinating Cultural and Recreational programs.
 Administration of House –keeping, Transportation and Welfare measures.
 Administration of Vehicle, Insurance, Canteen, Safety & Security.

 Industrial Relations:

 Maintain good Relations in Office and Mines premises & ensure Industrial
peace and harmony by pro-active employee relations.
 Taking care of Health, Safety and Welfare of the employees (Statutory as well
as Non-Statutory).
 Employee engagement activities like Reward & Recognition schemes
implementation and its controlling like Best attendance award, Best
Performance award, House keeping competition, & Suggestion schemes.
