Day 3: Agreeing

Directions: Memorize all the given expressions, then write sentences using
these expressions.

A. Expressing that you agree


1) A: So what do you think?
B: I agree with you 100%.
2) A: I think it’s a great idea.
B: That’s right!
3) A: What can you say?
B: This/That is perfect.
4) A: Anything you want to add/say?
B: I have no problem with that.
5) A: Do you want come with us to the party?
B: Absolutely!

B. Expressing that you understood


1) I/We see what you mean.
2) I/We got it.
3) I/We hear you.
4) I/We know what you’re talking about.

C. Making sure that you are understood (the listener heard you right)
1) A: Do you follow?
B: Not really. Could you repeat it, please?
2) A: Do you know what I mean?
B: ________________________________________________________
3) A: Do you agree?
B: ________________________________________________________

Sample dialog:

A: So Kevin do you follow?


B: Yes, I got it! It’s difficult at first though.
A: I agree with you 100%, I did not get it at first, but my supervisor was patient.
He explained it to me step by step. Let’s try it again, white sleeves go to isle
2 and red sleeves to isle 1, do you agree?
B: That’s right.
A: Great! I guess were done here.
