3. Palm Oil Production

The above graph shows the production of palm oil of various countries. Picture 1 shows
designating the world's six largest producers of palm oil in 2006. Indonesia is the world's
largest producer of palm oil, contributing 44% of the world's total palm oil. In the second
position, Malaysia has 43% of the world's total palm oil, followed by Thailand, countries and
Columbia. Based on the above data processing, figure 2, it has shown that in 1996/1997
Malaysia's production of palm oil is superior to Indonesia. Malaysian palm oil production
reached >8000 tons while Indonesia achieved only 6,000 tons. Indonesia's crude palm oil
production can reach as early as 2006/2007, where a new Indonesia palm oil production can
exceed Malaysia with around 16000 tons Based on the above two charts, Indonesia and
Malaysia are the two largest producer of palm oil in the world. In 1996/1997 Indonesia rose
second only to Malaysia as the world's largest producer of palm oil, but in early 2007
Indonesia's production of palm oil was higher than Malaysia's.
