Aloe vera

 Where it grow
This plant grows in hot and open areas with loose soil conditions and rich in organic
matter
 What it is used for
Used for beauty treatments, can be used as a mask, acne medicine, treating hair, close the
wound and help the digestive system.
 How it is prepared for use
For external use, aloe vera gel can be directly applied without boiling it first
For consumption, aloe vera can be boiled first.
Curcuma

 Where it grow
This plant can grow well in the lowlands to the altitude of 1500 m above sea level and has
a tropical forest habitat and can also grow well in loose soil
 What it is used for
Protect liver cells, increase appetite, and maintain endurance.
 How it is prepared for use
Can be dried (simplicia), grated and then boiled and filtered and drunk, or mixed in food.
Ginger

 Where it grows
This plant grows in climates with relatively high rainfall of 2500-4000 mm in the tropics
with a height of 2000 m at sea level
 What it is used for
Overcome many digestive problems such as abdominal pain and nausea, vomiting,
dizziness due to vertigo, to reduce pain due to menstrual pain and joint pain such as
osteoarthritis and rheumatism
 How it is prepared for use
Can be boiled, dried (simplicia), mixed with food and can be used as herbal medicine
Lime

 Where it grows
This plant grows in the lowlands to the highlands of 1000 mpdl
 What it is used for
Helps reduce fever, facilitate digestion, and control blood sugar pressure for diabetics,
helps the detoxification process, brightens the skin, and helps prevent premature aging
 How it is prepared for use
Can be squeezed, boiled, used on the face, and mixed with food
Betel leaf

 Where it grow
This plant grows in humid places and usually grows in vines and usually flowering
heavily.
 What it is used for
As an antiseptic that works to kill germs such as cleaning female organs, eliminating bad
breath, healing mouth ulcers and killing germs on wounds
 How it is prepared for use
Can be boiled or grown
