Chapter 3 (“La comida”)

Bienvenidos!!! Welcome!!!
This session will focus on learning and practicing vocabulary about “La comida”
(Mosaicos, page 107) and irregular verbs in the yo form (Mosaicos, pages 111-
112).

1. Chapter vocabulary will be introduced and practiced.

a. Click on the following links:

b. Click on “flashcards” and new vocabulary will be
introduced. Click on “play” and terms will be pronounced in
Spanish; go to “click to flip” (right side of the flashcard) and
terms will be pronounced in English.
c. Click on “learn” and you will be able to practice the words.
d. Click on “spell” and type what you hear.
e. Click on “write” and type the answers.
f. Click on “match” and “gravity” and you will be able to play
with the words.
g. You can repeat the process as many times as necessary.
h. Optional: click on “test” and test yourself.
2. Grammar will be introduced and practiced.
a. Click on the URL icons and watch our lessons.
b. I have attached scripts, so you can take notes.
c. I have created these videos for our course. Please, do not
share them.
3. Complete the activities designed by your instructor.
a. Log into your Moodle account and click on our course
(Spanish 1010).
b. Click on Moodle assignment icon.

c. Open the Word document; save it on your computer, and

complete the assignment.
d. When saving your assignment, please include your name
(first initial and last name) in the file name.
e. Submit the assignment.
4. Unit 10 consists of 4 assignments (actividades) and a short quiz, all

of which will be graded under “class participation”.
