ONLINE EMAIL INTERVIEW QUESTIONS.

1. Tell me about yourself.
I’m currently a field service engineer at Schneider Electric, where I handle our top
performing client. Before that, I worked at CH2MHILL, Qatar where I was handled
LUSAIL CITY project. And while I really enjoyed the work that I did, I’d love the chance to
face new challenges in a new region, which is why I’m so excited about this opportunity
with ExxonMobil.

2. Why do you want to work at our company?

It is a great privilege to anyone to work in a reputed company. Every individual has a
dream of becoming something and achieves their career goals in our lives, and your
company is the best platform. There was a saying that "Make hay while the sun shines",
so I want to build up my carrier by joining in this company and make my passion comes
true.

3. Why do you want to resign from your previous job?

I had been with the organization for a number of years and wanted to experience a new
environment to continue growing. I didn’t feel there was an opportunity to grow or
advance further in that role so I decided a change would best for my career.

4. Why should I hire you?

Your company is looking for an Electrical engineer position also who is both strong in
interpersonal skills and in tech skills. I believe my experience aligns well with that and

As far as my strengths are concerned, I am a quick learner, adaptable, highly flexible,
optimistic towards my goals and a hard worker. Everyone has weakness and my
weakness is I can't say lie on the face.
6. What is the difference between hard work and smart work?
Working hard means putting in lots of time, even if it’s unpleasant. Working smart means
getting more leverage out of your time. Hard work would mean spending long hours to
complete my work without any shortcuts. It definitely ensures results but the process is
long and stressful. Smart work would be aiming for the same results but with planning
and prioritization of tasks.

7. Are you a risk taker or do you like to stay away from risks?
I take risks because through planning and working smart, it's possible to reduce some of
the risk. So, if there's a reasonable chance of success, I would take the opportunity.

8. Can you work under pressure?

I am working under pressure because I believe it helps me grow. In my previous

Yes, I am willing to relocate.

Success is what motivates me to do a good job. Knowing the fact that my hard work and

I feel that aligning the company’s vision and values with my own is one way to achieve
that. When I know that my efforts are following the correct path, it encourages me to push
more. Hence, for me, success is important both at a personal as well as at an
organizational level. Motivation is seeing the organization grow which ultimately leads to
personal achievement and success. There might be instances of failure or stagnation but
it does not demotivate me anyhow. On the other hand, I feel re-invigorated to perform
even more. The taste of success after a failure is what keeps the fire going within me no
matter what the circumstance.
