Homework 7 Induction Motor 2

1. There is an induction motor with its number of pair of poles p=3, the rotor rotating direction
and speed is as showed in the following several cases,
a. The rotor rotating direction is the same as the direction of air gap rotating magnetic
field, the rotating speed is 1040 rpm, 1000rpm, 950rpm, and 0; (4 Remarks)
b. The rotor rotating direction is the opposite to the direction of air gap rotating
magnetic field, the rotating speed is 500 rpm, 200 rpm; (2 Remarks)

Try to calculate the silp for different cases considering the power frequency is 50 Hz.
